Here’s a selection of push alerts I’ve written for The Boston Globe. I write alerts across all sections based on what’s performing well on the site, and I also handle breaking news alerts — often sending them out within minutes of a story breaking.

Print headlines and captions:

Below are some selected "incaps" I've done on deadline for print at The Boston Globe! I was given the photos and general information about them. Then, I wrote the headlines, captions, and lead-ins, usually in under 10 minutes using Eidosmedia's Méthode.

I have copyedited the selected stories below according to the Globe's stylebook, and significantly shortened the headlines and trimmed the stories to fit in the print layout I was given. Check out the stories below before and after I trimmed them for print.
